To install electricity in a house, shop or land, you must follow a few steps in an organized and safe way. At JF we handle the entire process, we just need some data/documents such as:
Citizen card (for individuals) or permanent certificate (for companies);
Installation address with geographical coordinates;
Property Tax Booklet;
Phone and email contacts.
At JF we handle the entire process and provide a completely free quote, you just need to:
Provide all the requested documentation;
Indicate the type of grid connection desired;
Indicate the power you want;
After approval of our quote, it will also be necessary to:
Pay the E-Redes fees (amounts vary);
Connection to the grid for a single-family house.
Connection to the grid for a company/business.
Connection to the grid for a collective installation (e.g., apartment buildings).
Network deviation: To change the location of existing network elements (poles, lines, etc.).
Construction sites: To provide temporary electricity to a site, with or without a future permanent connection.
Events: To provide electricity to a specific event, only for the strictly necessary period. These connections are typically for circuses, fairs, parties, street shows, etc.
If the location already has a meter installed, or if there has previously been an electricity contract, you just need to contact an energy supplier to make a new supply contract.
The CPE – Delivery Point Code – is the number that identifies your electrical installation.
The NIP – Building Identification Number – is the number that identifies the collective installation and allows access to all associated CPEs.
If the power you want to contract is lower than the maximum admissible power of the installation, you should request a power increase from your Energy Supplier.
If the power you want is higher than the maximum admissible power, you may request a quote from us for a power upgrade.
You must ensure that the installation is certified for the new power level.
If certification is required, you must contact an inspection entity for electrical installations recognized by the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG).
Yes, by submitting a request to change the meter's location or to alter the delivery point.
